Matt helped me a few small ways that have significantly impacted my career. The most memorable was in 2012 when I was asked to perform a high-profile domain change (ComScore top 10 site) with the plenty of risks to traffic. I put together a plan and felt right about it. I decided to bounce it off Matt just in case. He emailed me back within 30 minutes and told me that he liked my plan and gave me one more suggestion. The migration went well, and traffic recovered faster than expected. When I think back to that exchange, it is amazing that he took the time to reply to some unknown in-house guy. It might not have been a big deal for him, but it gave me the extra confidence I needed to go forward. I am grateful for his help and support.
