Aside from one minor tiff (still love him, though), I thoroughly enjoyed Matt's availability as Google's spokesman to our community. Never missed one of his videos, read all his blog posts - although like many of us, I found what he didn't say was often more telling than what he did say.

Matt, my heart aches for you - I can't imagine such a sense of loss as you must feel. I'm sure you're coping and I know words don't make the pain go away, but I hope you realize they're sincere.

Know that you DID have a tremendous impact on many of us in the SEO community - and we miss you!
