My first speaking engagement in 2003 was a Webmaster World Conference in Vegas on Local with Matt on the small panel with me.

I remember being so nervous that when I started, I had to walk back to my chair to drink water. It was one thing to speak in front of the crowd for the first time. But another to have my intellect be vulnerable to one of the best in the world at the time for Google Ranking Algorithms.

I watched and participated in the entire run of Google Guy. The entire decade was prolific. It should be a movie.

He is a special person and an inspiration to so many.
