When I first started as a web designer I was inundated with calls from agencies trying to sell me a #1 Ranking on Google. Marketers were trying to convince me to buy a magic bullet or telling me that I was missing out on major success if I did not hire them. My first insight into what Google really wanted or how to write quality content came from Matt. There was something genuine about watching Matt on YouTube and getting a taste of what SEO was all about. Over the years I have watched Matt take quite a few punches from disgruntled webmasters unhappy with their rankings. Insults and hate have filled SEO message boards as if Matt is responsible for each individual site rank or had full power over the algorithm. Despite rude remarks and personal jabs his integrity remained strong. As a 'newbie' marketeer I always enjoyed his videos and easy to grasp Q & A sessions. Thanks Matt!
